I am an interdisciplinary scholar working at the intersection of sociology, cultural studies, and labor studies. My research is rooted in sociological methods, especially ethnography, comparative-historical analysis, and narrative analysis. My empirical work focuses on the sociology of culture, work and occupations, and environment, while my social theory and cultural criticism contribute to conversations about art, labor, and social change. As an educator, I practice critical, problem-posing, and arts-based pedagogies in the classroom.
